Requests for nominations, resolutions and rules from Glynn GOP Chairman Ron Sadowski
Dear Glynn County Republican,
The Glynn Republican County Convention
will be held Saturday, March 10. Even if you are not a Delegate or an Alternate,
you may participate in the GOP convention process. Below, you will see how you
may place your name for consideration to be a delegate to the District or State
Convention. You may also choose to submit a resolution, or a rule change to our County
Bylaws, both to be considered at the County Convention.
To be considered as a Delegate or an
Alternate to the District or State Convention:
The First District Convention will be held
April 14 at the Glynn Academy building in downtown Brunswick. Glynn County is
allowed 27 Delegates and 27 Alternates.
The Georgia State Convention will be held
in Columbus, GA., May 18 & 19. Glynn County is allowed to send 20 Delegates
and 20 Alternates.
Both Conventions will have registration
fees. Delegates/Alternates will be responsible for their own travel and
lodging.
If you are sure you can go and would like
to place your name for consideration for either or both conventions, please
email the Nomination Committee at GlynnGOPConvention@gmail.com . In
the subject line type: GOP Conventions. Please include your full
name, phone number, and address, which convention you choose
to attend, and your choice to be a Delegate or an Alternate.
Please email only on behalf of your self and persons
residing in your household by Wednesday March
7th.

Resolutions:
Please be concise, informative, self contained, and
formatted in the standard resolution format. Include your contact information.
Email all resolutions to GlynnGOPConvention@gmail.com . In
the subject line type: GOP Resolutions. Email by Wednesday March
7th.
To submit Rule
Changes:
A copy of the Glynn County Republican
Party's Bylaws are on our website www.GOPglynn.us . Review and if you believe
rule changes are needed, please submit those changes by citing the section to be
changed and the new text . Include your contact information. It will be helpful
to write a short paragraph explaining why a rule should be changed or a new rule
added. Email new rules and/or rule changes to GlynnGOPConvention@gmail.com . In
the subject line type: GOP Rules. Email by Wednesday March
7th.
